Our pet of the week is waiting for you at the Des Moines County Humane Society . Each week we spotlight an animal that is in search of their forever home.
This week we are featuring Piper. Piper is an approximately 3 year old female Pitbull. She was surrendered to the shelter after having weaned a litter of puppies. All pups were adopted and now it’s sweet Piper’s turn to find herself a forever home. Piper is very sweet and loving, not to mention adorable! Thanks to a grant the Des Moines County Humane Society recieved, Piper has a discounted adoption fee of just $60.00!
Stop by the Des Moines County Humane Society if you are interested in adopting. They are open 3-6pm Tues-Fri and from 1-5pm on the weekends.
