Each year, the Greater Burlington community comes together to make sure every resident can enjoy a real Thanksgiving dinner. You can help!

Add an extra few cans of corn or green beans (#10) or cranberry sauce, or a gallon of apple juice to your Burlington HyVee shopping list, or let the cashier know you’d like to donate a turkey for the Community Thanksgiving Dinner. Canned items and juice can be dropped off at Burlington Public Library by Wednesday, November 27; fruit pies and cookies can be dropped off at Burlington Community High School on Wednesday from 3-7 PM (use the south entrance), or make a cash donation to Burlington Community Thanksgiving Dinner and bring or mail your check to Southeast Iowa Community Action, 2850 Mt. Pleasant St, Suite 108.

Register to volunteer helping to cook, serve or clean up online before Nov. 26 or by calling Lois at the library – 319-753-1647.

You can also invite or transport others to enjoy the feast! The dinner will take place at the high school from 11:30 AM to 2 PM on Thanksgiving day.
