Head to the Burlington riverfront after the lighted holiday parade and be part of an inaugural Christmas tradition – the lighting of the riverfront Christmas tree! The 25-foot tree will be directly in front of the auditorium, where it can be seen from Jefferson Street and the great River Bridge. Mayor Shane McCampbell will hit the lights, followed by holiday music from David Kroll. Hot cocoa for kids and hot cocoa or coffee with a kick for adults will be available to purchase. Please bring a non-perishable food item to help stock are food pantries for the holidays.
